Full Access is participating in a new fundraising opportunity this year. We are very excited about participating in Sagebrush, formerly called the Sagebrush Classic! Sagebrush is a fundraising event that Deschutes Brewery has sponsored for 22 years. For 2011, Sagebrush extended the offer to all eligible non-profits to participate in this fundraising opportunity. This year’s event is comprised of the Sagebrush Community Challenge/Scramble on July 9th, Sagebrush Street Fare on July 13th, Sagebrush Private Dinners on July 14th, The Sagebrush Classic on July 15th and the Sagebrush Feast on the 16th.
Each non-profit is responsible for soliciting donations on their own behalf. Contributions made through Sagebrush qualify for a match percentage, making a greater impact. There are a couple of ways you can make a contribution to Full Access. You can make out a check to Sagebrush and write Full Access in the memo line of the check and mail to Sagebrush with a donor form. Or you can make a credit card donation online by visiting www.Sagebrush.org and specifying Full Access as the non-profit of your choice. The greatest reason to make a contribution to Full Access through Sagebrush is that all contributions made in this manner qualify for a match percentage! We do not know yet what the percentage of the match will be, but having a match in itself makes the dollar go a lot further!
Through the monies raised by the event, Full Access aims to greatly lower the unemployment rates for people with developmental disabilities through trainings, education and community outreach.

Helping individuals that want employment find employment and breaking down the barriers that prevent this from occurring are great things indeed!
