Members of FAB
In order to better understand how the organization is run, and the role of the members of FAB, we have included the following
organizational chart.
Board of Directors:
FAB is governed by a volunteer group called the Board of Directors. The responsibility of the Board is to set all policies, the budget, and hire the Executive Director as the chief executive officer of the organization. They follow an approved set of by-laws filed with the state of Oregon. Information about all the Board members is linked above. New members to the Board are usually added from our Advisory Council.
Advisory Council:
There are two advisory councils serving FAB at this time. One is in Lane County and the other is serving the 4 eastern counties: Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson and Lake. Unlike the Board of Directors, the Advisory Councils do not set policy or make budget decisions for FAB. They are community members who help create more opportunities for FAB clients. The also advise staff on how to improve services. New members are always considered!
