Getting Involved
Joining an Advisory Council:
There are two Advisory Councils serving FAB at this time. One is in Lane County and the other is serving the 4 eastern counties: Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson and Lake. Unlike the Board of Directors, the Advisory Councils do not set policy or make budget decisions for FAB. They are community members who help create more opportunities for FAB clients. They also advise staff on how to improve services. New members are always considered!

Become a Provider
FAB has compiled a database of potential providers. Providers work with our clients to assist them in achieving the goals they set for themselves. Providers work in diverse areas such as aiding clients to access the community, training clients in independent living skills and stranger awareness or how to ride the bus, developing a job or providing ongoing job support, providing respite to a client’s regular care giver, and many other areas. Goto our Frequently Asked Questions page to find out how to become a provider.
For more information call the office in your area.
