We invite you to experience film and video related to the field of developmental disabilities. People with developmental disabilities as subjects and performers remain marginalized in the media.
By presenting films of artistry and intellect, the festival hopes to reinforce accurate portrayals of people with developmental disabilities and expose the public to important issues facing people with developmental disabilities. The goal is an enjoyable and enlightening experience that will help breakdown stereotypes, promoting a greater acceptance of differences and awareness of similarities.
The 2008 Sprout Film Festival is program managed and supported by Sprout, a NYC-based non-profit organization, dedicated to bringing innovative programming to people with developmental disabilities.

There will also be a presentation of FAB's accomplishments over the last 5 years. 5/31/07 2 - 10 pm Tower Theatre Bend Film festival sponsored by SPROUT featuring film & video related to the field of developmental disabilities. Events include: hors d'oeurvres, No Host Bar & Silent Auction Pre-Show, Matinee Showing & Evening showing. Tickets can be purchased through Tower Theatre.
Block Party 6/29/07 4 - 7 pm FAB Office Eugene Gathering for Clients, Families & Providers to celebrate FAB's 5th Anniversary and also the purchase of their building. BBQ & Raffle 8/21/07 4 - 6 pm Aspen Hall Bend Get-together for Clients, Families & Providers. Raffle tickets will be available at the event.
