Personal Agent

The Personal Agent works under the supervision of Program Manager to insure proper planning, management and evaluation of direct client services. The Personal Agent serves as the principal liaison and agency representative to families, school districts and agencies. The Personal Agent links individuals and families to the supports they need. This involves extensive problem solving, contract negotiations and financial management. The Personal Agent provides needs assessments, develops service plans, coordinates referrals to agencies and other providers, monitors progress and maintains client records.

 Education/Experience Required:

• A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science, social science, or closely related field; or

• A bachelor’s degree in any field and one year of human services related experience; or

• An associate’s degree in a behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field and two years of human services related experience; or

• Five years of human services related experience.

 Other Requirements

• Valid Oregon driver’s License with good driving record

• Ability to pass a full criminal history background check

• Ability to function in a team environment, multi-task and demonstrate flexibility

• Skills in meeting facilitation and conflict resolution

• Strong communication skills, including both written and oral

• Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail, demonstrate strong time management skills, organizational skills, meet established deadlines, as well as have the ability to adapt to change.

Program Supervisor

The Program Supervisor will provide case management support to a minimum of 12 clients. This position will provide support, leadership, and supervision to Lead and Personal Agents. The Program Supervisor will work with the Program Manager on program audits, assist with state requests and requirements (Lane vs. Brown, Maintenance, Sheltered Workshop reports, Recommendation to Take Action forms, etc.), implement state mandated changes, and coordinate as needed with county staff, other agencies, and Protective Services Investigators. 

 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.

• Knowledge of Developmental Disabilities OARs

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work with, and maintain strict confidentiality requirements.

• Articulate and have strong communication skills both written and verbal.

• Present a calm and consistent demeanor with critical thinking skills.

• Be approachable and a good listener.

• Ability to pass a full criminal history background check.

• Complete required Core Comp training.
